The platter has a simple pattern on it that I just seem to keep coming back to in my work. It reminds me that sometimes the simplest things are the best, and need no improvement.

This tray is hand-built from redstone clay with a thick layer of robin’s egg blue slip on the inside. Each one is hand carved so patterns will vary from platter to platter. The diameter is roughly 13 inches with a height of about 1.2 inches.
